📦 Return & Exchange Window (5 Days)

We accept return requests for unused, unworn products with original tags intact within 5 days of delivery.

For size-related issues, customers may request an exchange within 5 days of delivery.

All approved replacements are processed only after successful quality inspection.

💰 Refund Policy

Eligible returns will be refunded only to the original payment method (including UPI for COD orders).

No store credit or gift card option is available.

Refunds are processed only after successful inspection approval.

Shipping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.

✔ Return Eligibility Conditions

To qualify for return/exchange, the product must:

Be unused and unworn
Have original tags intact and unaltered
Be returned in original packaging
Be in resellable condition without damage or wear

❌ Non-Returnable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable:

Custom-made or personalized jewellery
Pierced / body-contact jewellery (hygiene reasons)
Clearance / final sale items
Free gifts or promotional products

Earrings are eligible only if hygiene seal and quality conditions are intact.

✨ Jewellery Shine, Plating & Usage Disclaimer

Umakriti jewellery is fashion jewellery with plated finish.

Jewellery shine and finish may naturally change over time depending on usage.

Exposure to perfumes, deodorants, alcohol-based products, sweat, water, or chemicals can affect plating.

This is a natural characteristic of fashion jewellery and is not considered a defect.

💎 CARE & DURABILITY GUIDELINE

If handled with proper care, our jewellery can easily last 6 months to 1 year or even longer while maintaining its shine and elegance.

However, if exposed to chemicals, moisture, or rough usage, the lifespan may reduce significantly. In such cases, fading, dullness, or tarnishing will be treated as normal wear and tear and not eligible for replacement or refund.

⚠️ Damaged / Defective / Wrong Item Policy

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, we will offer replacement (subject to availability) or refund if replacement is not possible.

Mandatory Proof Required:

  • Full unboxing video (continuous, uncut)

  • Clear photos showing the issue

Claims without valid proof will not be accepted.

All claims must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

📦 Missing Items Policy

Missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with order number, unboxing video, and parcel images.

Once verified, missing items will be resent or refunded.

🔍 Return Approval Rights

Umakriti reserves the right to reject returns if:

Product shows signs of use or wear
Tags or packaging are missing or tampered
Damage is caused due to usage, not manufacturing defect
Required proof is not provided

🧪 Quality Inspection Policy

All returned items undergo strict quality inspection.

Returns will be rejected if:

Scratches, wear, or damage is found
Plating damage due to usage is detected
Perfume, sweat, water, or chemical exposure is visible
Item is not in resellable condition

Rejected items may be returned to customer at their shipping cost or held for 7 days before resolution.

🚚 Return Pickup Service

Approved returns are picked up via our logistics partners. Self-shipping is required only if specifically instructed.

💳 Refund Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after approval to the original payment method or UPI.

We aim to provide high-quality jewellery and a fair return experience. Jewellery is a delicate fashion product and natural wear over time is expected based on usage and care.
